    Why rehearsal changes things

Reading about hard conversations does not make them easier.

The words that come to you in the moment are almost never the ones you read the night before.

Peer roleplay is awkward and sporadic — both people know it's fake.

So the first real rep is the real thing, when it costs the most.

    How it works

Five minutes. Three steps. One real conversation less on your mind.

Pick a scenario. Rehearse out loud with a realistic Character. Reflect with Harco. Repeat until walking in ready is the default.

    01
    Pick the conversation

Describe the moment in plain language — the person, the context, what you want to get right.

    02
    Rehearse out loud

Live voice roleplay with a Character who responds like a real person. Busy, guarded, occasionally sharp.

    03
    Reflect with Harco

One honest reflection. One specific move to try in the real conversation.

    What you can rehearse

The moments that keep you up at night.

A few examples. You can also describe your own in a couple of minutes.

    Give critical feedback

Deliver a hard message to a peer or senior without breaking trust.

    Say no to a client

Push back on a request without burning the relationship.

    Name the elephant

Bring up what everyone's thinking in a stuck 1:1.

    Negotiate a raise

Make the ask, hold ground, and land on a real answer.

    Set a boundary

Decline the extra project, the late meeting, the unpaid ask.

    Deliver hard news

Announce a decision that's going to land badly — and stay in the room.

    The reflection

Your Conversation Signature, not a leaderboard.

After every session, Harco walks you through what happened. The moment the other person leaned in. The phrase that broke trust. The silence you could have used and did not.

One specific move to carry into the real conversation.
Reflective, not judgmental — the point is to know yourself, then choose.

How is this different from reading a book on difficult conversations?+

A book gives you vocabulary. Harco gives you reps. You cannot rehearse a sentence you have never said out loud, and the words that come to you in a live conversation are almost never the ones you read the night before.

    Is Harco a chatbot?+

No. You have a live voice conversation with a Character built for the specific moment you chose. They behave like a real counterpart — distracted, guarded, occasionally warm. Harco is the reflective coach who debriefs you afterwards.

What kinds of difficult conversations can I practise?+

Critical feedback, tough 1:1s, saying no to a client, negotiating a raise, delivering bad news, handling defensive reactions, addressing performance issues. If a moment is worth losing sleep over, it is worth rehearsing.

How long does a session take?+

Five to fifteen minutes of practice, plus a few minutes of reflection. Most people run two or three sessions a week and feel the difference within a fortnight.

    Is my voice data private?+

Yes. Audio is processed in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, and deleted within 30 days unless you choose to keep it. We never sell data and never train public models on your conversations.

Rehearse the one you've been avoiding.

First session is free. No card. Five minutes from here to your first rep.
