Enable domain restriction

    ForAdminsUpdated 22 October 2026

Limit your workspace to your company’s email domains so only colleagues can join, and optionally let them join automatically.

    1. 1

      Open workspace configuration

Go to Workspace › Configuration › Who can join. Only admins see this option.

      Add your domains

Add one or more domains, for example yourcompany.com. Subdomains such as nl.yourcompany.com are included.

      Invite as usual

From now on, invites, the share link and new sign-ups only work for emails on those domains. People already in the workspace keep their access.

    4. 4

      Optional: join automatically

Turn on “Join automatically” and anyone who signs in with a confirmed address on your own domain joins the workspace and all its teams, without a link. If several workspaces in your organisation are open to the same domain (for example a career centre and a faculty), people choose which one to join when they first sign in. People who are already in one of your workspaces are not asked. Webmail domains such as gmail.com can’t be used.

Good to knowWorking with contractors or partners on another domain? Leave the restriction off, or invite them before you turn it on. Someone you remove is not added back automatically.
